We, Chonbuk National University (CBNU), are cordially inviting you as a post-doctoral fellow. The program is to support prominent young scholars all over the world by providing opportunity to conduct research works with the faculty members of CBNU located in Jeonju, a calm but exciting southern city of the Republic of Korea.

Under this program, CBNU will award you a fellowship for your research works. As a full-time research staff you will work in your fields of specialization under the supervision of our faculty. We support you for one year and you can receive the same benefit for another year with the permission from the Program Board.

Eligibility

Candidates for the fellowship should

  1. hold a doctoral degree, which was conferred during the last 5 years from the date of announcement,

  2. contact a supervising faculty of research institutions or centers at CBNU in advance and receive an invitation letter from him/her,

  3. work as a full-time researcher at CBNU without any other occupation.

Terms of award

CBNU would provide a living allowance ranging from 2,000,000 Korean Won per month.(500,000 Won of the living allowance will be provided by a supervising professor.)
