Qualifications:

  • Applicants must hold relevant educational qualifications at the master level (master’s degree in economics or business administration).
  • Students who are expected to complete a master degree program may apply.
  • Applicants must possess good analytical skills, academic grades, motivation and qualifications to undertake the PhD program.
  • The grade B or better as the average grades at the master’s degree and of the master’s theses are required.
  • Applicant must be able to work independently, participate actively in the academic community, and be innovative and creative.
  • Applicant must preferably speak and write Norwegian.

Salary and conditions of employment

  • Starting salary is currently at pay level 50 in the Norwegian Government pay scale (currently NOK 435 500 p.a.).
