40 Fully-Funded Postgraduate Scholarships: 40 Fully-Funded Postgraduate Scholarships

Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships – Postgraduate are open for students starting their studies in 2018-19. These are fully funded for applicants from India.

The scholarships are available for students of any nationality provided they demonstrate the highest academic excellence and potential.

Located in North-East of England, Newcastle University (officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university.

Scholarship Award: 50% or 100% of tuition fees

Nationality: China, USA, Canada, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be considered for the 50% scholarships the applicants must:

  • Be a national of one of the following countries: , Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, China, USA, Canada, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Jordan
  • Be categorized under the international category for fee purposes
  • Hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree program at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the academic year 2018/19
  • Eligible candidates will be assessed according to:
  1. proof of academic ability
  2. proof of commitment to studies and
  3. quality of application

In order to be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

  • Be a national of one of the following countries: India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda
  • Be categorized under the international category for fee purposes
  • Be holding an offer for an eligible Master’s degree program at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the coming academic year
  • If English is not the first language applicants will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification.
