Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: President’s Scholarship 1286 views

Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offers President’s Scholarship. These scholarships are dedicated to international students.

Eligibility:

  • International students at the above mentioned university who are particularly involved in intercultural exchange

Criteria for selection:

  • special aptitude and motivation for studying
  • extracurricular engagement during studies (like intercultural exchange, initiatives and projects, as a tutor)
  • at least good academic performance already achieved at the university

Scholarship value:

  • 450 euros per month for 12 months

Funding requirements:

  • Applicant must be enrolled/registered in a course of study at the University.
  • A Bauhaus President Scholarship may not be awarded to students who are already receiving public funding.
  • Scholarship holders are only allowed to work in a part-time job according to the relevant regulations.
  • Funding recipients are expected to submit a final report.

  • Letter of motivation (max. 2 pages)
  • CV
  • Letter of recommendation from a professor of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
  • Proof of at least with “good” evaluated achievement in the course of study at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
  • Copies of diplomas/bachelor’s degree of previously earned degrees (if applicable)
  • Certificates, confirmation of participation of extracurricular engagement
  • Proof of German language proficiency (if applicable)
