Chris Heyde Scholarship: Mathematical Sciences 956 views

Chris Heyde Scholarship in Mathematical Sciences is offered every year. The main aim of the award is to facilitate learning and collaboration by Doctoral students in the fields of probability, statistical science or stochastic analysis, which were the primary areas of Chris’ research.

Eligibility for Chris Heyde Scholarship:

  • Scholarship is available to domestic (Australian citizens) or international student
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a program of study leading to the award of Doctorate
  • Applicant must pursue research in the area of probability, statistical science or stochastic analysis.
  • The award cannot be protracted, and a person can hold the award only once.

Application

  • Applications shall be called for with yearly closing date of 31 March or another date as set and advertised by the Mathematical Sciences Institute.
  • The application must include:
  • Cover letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • statement of how the applicant plans to use the scholarship
  • 3 references and any other relevant supporting documentation.
  • Applications must be submitted to the Senior Administrative Officer (HDR and Education), Mathematical Sciences Institute, by email or post prior to the closing date.
