Doctoral study program (DSP) is designed for university graduates who have completed their prescribed State examination in the Master’s program in the field covered by the DSP builds or related field.

The basic objective of the DSP is to acquire and demonstrate the ability of independent scientific work in the discipline process and defense of the doctoral dissertation, publications and other forms of presentation of their own research activities, including passing all the tests and the state doctoral examination.

DSP graduates confess academic title ” Doctor ” (abbreviated to ” Ph.D. ” behind the name).

DSP is organized as full-time and combined

 1.2 full-time DSP

It is the main form of doctoral studies. The duration of this form of study is four years. Students of full DSP with the status of university students (concessionary fares, accommodation on campus, eating in the cafeteria for the student rate etc.). After a period of study are granted scholarships are entitled to six weeks of vacation per calendar year. To full-time students are assigned to candidates who were admitted on the basis of the result of the procedure.

 2.2 combined DSP

It is a form of doctoral studies designed primarily for applicants from practice or from among the faculty staff, while remaining employed by their employers. Its duration is four years. The combined form of study, candidates are also accepted on the basis of the result of the admission procedure.

Admissions

The course of the admission procedure takes Companies Commission and the applicant within fourteen days of the outcome in writing. Admitted applicant is also informed about the date of commencement of studies and he is determined trainer.

Application for the admission procedure

For studies conducted in a foreign language is a set fee of 500, – EUR for each calendar year. This fee is not required for students coming in the framework of inter-university and inter-faculty contracts.

Students register for the study fundamentally on issues launched by the departments FAPPZ and before the filing contacted consideration trainer.

 Applications should be submitted via the Internet application at: http://is.czu.cz.

The deadline for applications ends on 31 August (tentatively).

 In case the application will not be completely filled, or not paid an administrative fee not to invite prospective students for admission procedure .

After submitting the electronic application is sent to the odd printed. science and research FAPPZ:

  • curriculum vitae,
  • statement of marks for master’s degree (for full-time, non-graduates FAPPZ)
  • copy of a diploma,
  • A review of published and unpublished works,
  • or other documents, eg. the proof of state language examination.

The candidate receives a DSP based on a submitted application with the required printed materials invitation to the entrance examinations for at least 10 days before the exam date.
