Technical University of Denmark (DTU), invites highly talented young researchers to apply for scholarships from DTU Compute. The starting date must be in the fall 2019.

Students can apply for fully funded or partially funded scholarships from DTU Compute. For partially funded DTU Compute scholarships documentation for the remaining funding must be provided with the application.

The subject of the PhD project is open, but it must be related to the main research areas and project description must be discussed with and accepted by the potential supervisor prior to the application:

  • Cognitive Systems
  • Cyber Security
  • Dynamical Systems
  • Embedded Systems Engineering
  • Image Analysis & Computer Graphics
  • Formal Methods – for safe and secure systems
  • Mathematics
  • Scientific Computing
  • Software Engineering
  • Statistics and Data Analysis
Qualifications:
  • Applicant must hold M.Sc degree in engineering or an equivalent degree.
  • Applicant must possess good command of the English language.

  • Application must include a letter of confirmation signed by the relevant DTU supervisor, stating that the supervisor and the candidate have agreed upon the PhD project.

  • Acceptance from a supervisor at DTU Compute (in writing)
  • Personal application addressed to the Dean of Graduate Studies and International Affairs
  • Short description of the proposed PhD project
  • Transcripts of MSc degree including list of courses
  • CV with list of publications
  • Short CV with list of publications for potential supervisor(s)
