Fujian Government Scholarship: Government of Fujian Province (China) has started the fujian Government Scholarship for International Students (FGS) in agreement with the Guidance for Medium and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development (2010-2020).

The main aim of Fujian Province is to promote the development and progression on scale, level and service ability of the education of  and to appeal more international students to study in Fujian, China.

 CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY: the eligibility criteria for the fellowships are: 

  1. Non-Chinese citizens

 Scholarship Coverage and Criteria

The scholarship is divided into the following categories and is granted to the relevant institutions that accept international students:

  1. International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities study in Fujian program:
    30000 RMB/person/year
  2. International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities trainees program
    Non-academic language students will be awaded 30,000 RMB/person/year, (for one academic year)
    -Short-term program trainees will be awarded 5,000 RMB/person/month
  3. Governor Special Scholarship Program: 60,000 RMB/person/year
  4. Independent recruitment program

Application Documents

The candidates must fill in and submit the mentioned documents:

  1. Application Form
  2. Highest diploma duly attested
  3. Applicants shall also provide proof of studying on application
  4. Original & photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination
  5. A study plan of 400 words (or above) or a research plan of 800 words (or above)
  6. Applicants for music and art are required to submit the candidates own works piece
  7. Students under age 18 might submit relevant legal documents from their parents / guardians
