High Achievement Scholarship for International Students 1600 views

High Achievement Scholarship was initiated in 2012 for International Students to encourage talented students (international) to study at the University of Waikato. The Scholarship is values to a 15% discount on full international student fees for the 2nd year of undergraduate (UG) study.

The Scholarship is open to all international students enrolling in a fulltime UG programme who studied at the University of Waikato in the preceding one year.

Selection process:

There is no application process; students who achieve a B+ grade average over their first 120 points will be automatically eligible for the High Achievement Scholarship for their next 120 points.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be an international full-fee paying students who first enrolled in an UG degree in the preceding 12 months, and who have subsequently completed the first 120-points toward an undergraduate degree at the University of Waikato
  • Students who are required to undertake a Waikato Pathways College programme prior to entering an UG degree will be eligible to be considered for the scholarship after they have completed 120 points towards an UG degree at the University.
