ICTS-TIFR: Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physics and Mathematics 3013 views

ICTS-TIFR: The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bangalore is invites fall-term applications for postdoctoral positions in Physics and Mathematics for the year 2019-2020.

Duration: The positions are for 02 years from the time of joining with probability of extension for the 3rd year.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be highly motivated young scientists with Doctorate in theoretical physics, mathematics (including interdisciplinary and applied mathematics), astronomy, theoretical physical chemistry, theoretical physical biology and related fields.
  • Applicants who have submitted their PhD thesis may also apply for the fellowship.

Fellowship value:

  • INR 32,000/month (for thesis submitted)
  • INR 36,000/month (PhD)
  • INR 38,000/month (PhD+1 year)
  • INR 40,000/month (PhD + 2 years)
  • Contingency grant: INR 32,000 per annum
  • ICTS accommodation (or housing allowance at the rate of 30% of the honorarium)
