Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites qualified candidates for Walk- In- Interview and/or written test. The posts are purely temporary, initially for six to twelve months under various task force studies under Division of Nutrition, ICMR and will be renewed with periodical evaluation and also depending upon the duration of the project.

Project 1: Centre for promotion of Nutrition Research and Training with special focus on North-east, Tribal and Inaccessible population

Scientist-‘B’ (Non-medical)

Number of positions: 1 (Nutrition)

Age limit: upper age limit 35 years

Salary: Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold 1st Class Master Degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized University with 2 years’ experience in field of Food & Nutrition OR\
  • 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized university.

Post – Scientist-‘B’ (Non-medical)

Number of positions: 1 (Life Science)

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years

Salary: Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold 1st Class Master Degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized University with 2 years experience in relevant field OR
  • 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized university.

PROJECT 2: Improving health and nutritional status of vulnerable segment of population by implementing multi component health and nutrition education intervention as a sustainable model of intervention

Salary: Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed

Qualifications:

  • 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Food & Nutrition from a recognized university.

PROJECT 3: Assessment of iodine status among pregnant women in selected districts of India

Post: Scientist-‘B’ (Non-medical)

Number of positions: 2 (Life Science)

Age limit: – Not exceeding 35 years

Salary: Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold 1st Class Master Degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized University with 2 years experience in relevant field OR
  • 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biotechnology) from a recognized university.

PROJECT 4: Prevalence of fluorosis in the community of selected districts of India and development of an appropriate intervention model for prevention and control of fluorosis

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years

Salary: Rs.48,000/- p.m. + HRA fixed
