IO-MBA Scholarships for International students 1418 views

The IO-MBA program and the University of Geneva have initiated a new scholarship program in September 2016. This scholarship program has the objective to encourage and assist the participation of students coming from abroad to Geneva, candidates coming from low and middle income countries as well as candidates working in a Nonprofit Organization.

4 types of scholarships offered:

  1. Geneva University Accommodation Scholarship
  • Provision of a single room in a student apartment (12 months x 600 CHF)
  • Scholarship is awarded based on a combination of academic merit and financial need.
  • Amount: 7’200CHF
  1. IO-MBA Scholarship
  • Reduction on program fees
  • Scholarship is awarded based on a combination of academic merit and financial need.
  • This scholarship is depending on the availability of funds.
  • Amount: 5’000CHF
  1. Priority Countries Scholarship
  • Reduction on program fees for participants coming from AND living in a country with a low-to-medium HDI
  • Statement describing applicant’s personal financial situation, copy of passport, and proof of residence.
  • This scholarship is depending on the availability of funds.
  • Amount: 7’900CHF
  1. Scholarship for Partner IOs & NGOs
  • Reduction on program fees for participants working in an IO or an NGO partner of the IO-MBA program
  • Statement from the employer attesting place of work.
  • Amount: 5’925CHF

Important info:

  • Each type of scholarship is available on a limited number and candidates who are keen to apply for it are encouraged to submit their application by 15 November (Round 1).
  • Students may apply for 2 types of scholarships at the same time, knowing that the Admission Committee will grant, (if possible), the most beneficial scholarship.
