National Institute of Immunology (NII) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (Project) under J. C. Bose Fellowship funded by SERB (Project) under the guidance of Dr. Satish Kumar Gupta, Emeritus Scientist.

Duration: till-31.05.2018

Educational Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold Master’s degree in Life Sciences with two years of research experience.
  • Applicant must also have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ as per DST OM dated 21.10.2014

Remunerations: (depending upon qualification & experience); Rs. 28,000/- per month with 30% HRA

Job description & Desired Knowledge:

  • Applicant must have good experience in cell culture, transfection techniques with siRNA, qPCR, western blot, ELISA, matrigel invasion assay, miRNA and their target validation.
  • Applicant must have (mandatory) sound theoretical knowledge of cell biology with special reference to cell invasion, signaling pathways and miRNA analysis and validation.
