Jane M Klausman Women In Business Scholarship

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship program by Zonta International helps women pursue Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in business management and overcome gender barriers from the classroom to the boardroom. This scholarship was established in 1998 from a substantial donation by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club.

The program functions at the Zonta club, district, region and international levels. Zonta annually grants up to 32 scholarships of US$1,000 each at the district and region level and 12 international scholarships in the amount of US$7,000 each.

Eligibility:
  • Women of any age, pursuing a business or business-related program that shows exceptional potential in the field and are living or studying in a Zonta district or region are eligible.
  • Note: Applicants from geographic areas where no Zonta clubs are located will also be taken into consideration and are also eligible to apply for the district or region scholarship.
  • Women studying online courses in the above mentioned subjects are also eligible to apply.
Application Procedure:
  • To apply contact the nearest Zonta club.
  • Note: applicants should not apply to more than one Zonta district.
  • Applicants should be nominated by a local Zonta club.
  • Applications selected by Zonta clubs are sent to the respective Zonta governor or regional representative. A district/region evaluating committee selects one applicant per district/region to submit to Headquarters.
  • 12 international recipients from the district or region applicants are selected.
