MBA Scholarship is offered by the Aberdeen Business School to provide opportunities to exceptionally talented students who wish to pursue management program. The scholarship takes the form of a reduction in the normal tuition fees by a specified amount. Successful applicants will be responsible for paying the balance of their tuition fees, and for all their other travel and living expenses.

Eligibility:

• Candidates with an offer for the MBA, MBA Information Management, or MBA Oil and Gas Management degrees can apply for a MBA scholarship.

Awards Criteria:

1. The student’s past academic qualification
2. Whether the student has demonstrated career progression and achievement
3. Evaluation of an essay of 1,000 – 1,500 words written by the student.

Guidance Notes for the Written Essay:

Applicants for a scholarship must prepare and submit an essay of 1,000 – 1,500 words under the following headings:

• Business Experience
• Interpersonal Skills
• Cultural and National Perspective
• Special Attributes
• General attributes

Note: You should only apply for a scholarship when you are in receipt of an offer for the degree.

Application Procedure:

• Download and complete the Scholarship Application Form
• The form and the written paper should be sent with all other essential documentation to mair@rgu.ac.uk
• Title email “MBA Scholarship Application”.

Applications for a scholarship are assessed by the admissions panel on a competitive basis. Decisions on the award of scholarships will be made by the Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee meets each month. When the decision is made the applicant is immediately communicated.

The School will not enter into any correspondence about unsuccessful applications for scholarships.
