The University of Queensland offers a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Neuroscience through the Queensland Brain Institute. The focus of the program is to offer talented students from diverse backgrounds an alternative route into a research career in the neurosciences through providing a solid base in a broad range of neuroscience disciplines. Selected students will work on independent research projects under the guidance of eminent QBI Neuroscientists, as well as pursue neuroscience related workshops and journal clubs.

Level of study: Postgraduate (Master’s)

Scholarship value: $26,288

Duration: Completion of the MPhil will take up to 2 years (full-time). The program starts from 01 February 2017

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Psychology or engineering (with or without honours) or
  • Applicant must have relevant industry experience
  • Applicants must be nationals of Australia, New Zealand or International students
