National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis invites applications for one post of Scientist ‘C’ (Immunology) at Chennai

Pay Band: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- (pre-revised VI CPC) and other usual allowances as admissible as per Government norms

Essential Qualification:

  • Applicant must hold Post graduate degree (MD/DNB) with one year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with two years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized University or
  • Applicant must hold MBBS degree recognized by MCI with 4 years R&D/Teaching experience in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology after MBBS Degree or
  • Applicant must hold Ist class Master’s degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree or IInd class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Immunology/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc. with Ph.D.
  • Age limit: applicant must not exceeding 40 years (relaxable upto 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST/OBC candidates)

  • Documents to be enclosed with the application form (copies attested by Gazetted Officer): Proof of Date of Birth (SSC Board Certificate); Educational qualifications (Degree, Diploma, certificate courses and copies of all mark sheets for all the years); Experience (proof for all experiences mentioned in the application); List of publications;
  • Applicant must send Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft from a nationalized bank for Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) payable to the Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai.
