NIIT University (NU): PhD programme 1975 views

NIIT University (NU) invites application for its PhD Programme.

PhD applicants can belong to any of the following categories:

  • Without experience
  • With experience
  • Candidates employed and sponsored by industry/organization
Eligibility:
  • Applicant must hold Master’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, and Technology with a good academic record.
  • Applicant with B.Tech/BE degree with a minimum of CGPA of 8.87 on a 10.0 point scale, or with a valid GATE Score are also eligible to apply.
  • Foreign (International) nationals can register as residential students only.
  • Foreign nationals with degrees from Indian universities will be treated at par with Indian nationals for admission purposes.
  • Foreign nationals with foreign degrees must meet the minimum educational requirements as mentioned above with equivalent Indian degrees in the relevant disciplines. They must have a valid score in GRE/GMAT/GATE/ JMET/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ATMA/UGC or CSIR/NET/JRF or an equivalent examination; must have secured the required TOEFL score; must have working knowledge pertaining to the domain.

NU Scholar Search Programme

  • All registered regular full time students would be provided scholarship of upto Rs 30, 000 per month.
  • They shall be required to assist half time in the teaching/research activities.
  • NU shall not charge any university fee (computed at Rs 4, 40,000 / annum) from the residential PhD scholars.

  • Download the PhD Admission Application Form, print and submit the completed form along with all the required documents in one of the following ways:
  • Send by registered post/speed post/courier service to NU Central Admissions Office.
  • Submit in person to an authorizsed NU representative at NU Admissions Offices.
  • Email the scanned copy of the completed form to admissions@niituniversity.in, along with the scanned copies of Class X, XII, Graduation, and Post-Graduation mark sheets and other required documents.
