NIMR Recruitment 2017: National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) has announced notification for the recruitment of 30 Research Scientist, Research Associate (RA), Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Data Entry Operator, Scientist –C, Scientist –B and Other vacancies under the following projects at NIMR.

  1. Project 1- Centre Of Excellence For Climate Change & Vector Borne”,
  2. Project 2 – “Vulnerability Assessment And Adaptation Measures Towards Potential Impacts Of Climate Change On Malaria In Hot Spots Of India” ,
  3. Project 3 – “El Nino Southern Oscillation Based Forecast Model For Malaria And Dengue In India” & Project 4 – “Epidemiological Study Of Foci Of Visceral Leishmaniasis In Himachal Pradesh” purely on temporary basis.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be up to 35 years for S.No-1, 3, 8, 40 years and for women 42 years for S.No-2, 9, 15, Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. rule. For more information refer the notification.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Candidates should possess First class Master’s degree in life Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent for S.No-1,
  2. PhD in Life sciences/ Earth sciences from a recognized University or equivalent for S.No-2,
  3. Post Graduation degree in Life sciences/Earth sciences/ Environmental Science with NET qualification for S.No-3, 4,
  4. Intermediate or 12th pass from a recognized board for S.No-5, High school or equivalent for S.No-6, 1st class Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University for S.No-7, 8,
  5. PhD in Life sciences/ Earth Sciences/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent for S.No-9,
  6. Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Earth Sciences/ Environmental Sciences for S.No-10 Posts.
