University of East Anglia offers three schemes under which a student may apply for scholarship in the academic year 2017/18. All three have alike academic requirements – a strong research proposal and strong performance on a relevant Master’s degree.

Study areas:

• Behavioural Economics in Industrial and Competition Economics, and boasts rapidly expanding research clusters in Economic Theory
• Applied Econometrics and Finance
• Economics of Conflict

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold or expected to hold, a first degree with a minimum of 2:1 and a good Master’s degree with research methods training appropriate to the discipline, with a dissertation mark of at least 65%.
• Applicants applying for a 1+3 studentship must hold or expected to hold a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Applicants who have studied outside of the UK must typically hold, or expected to hold, qualifications at an equivalent level to those mentioned above.
• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, via telephone or Skype, as part of the selection process.
• European Union and International applicants will be required to provide evidence of English Language proficiency.
