Photon Science: DESY Fellowships (f/m) 1179 views

Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY invites application DESY fellowships for photon science, particle and astro-particle physics as well as accelerator physics. Fellows are invited to take an active role in one of the experimental or theoretical areas of research at DESYs Photon Science.

1. Condensed matter physics
2. Atoms, Molecules and Optics
3. Laser physics
4. Detector development
5. Structural Chemistry
6. Structural Biology

Requirements:

• Applicant must hold PhD completed within the last 4 years
• Applicant must have experience in experimental or theoretical science in one of the areas of the DESY photon science division

Duration: 2 years; possibility of extension by one additional year.

Fellowship value: Salary and benefits are corresponding with those of public service organizations in Germany.
