Postdoctoral Contract “CNIO FRIENDS” 1098 views

Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) announces the “CNIO Friends” initiative (launched in November of 2014), dedicated to promote individual philanthropy and micro‐sponsorship as a source of funds for the Centre, as well as to bring the CNIO closer to society. The programme, Post‐Doctoral Contract Programme offers doctors, of all nationalities, the opportunity to carry out a postdoctoral stay at the CNIO.

Duration: 2 years

Number of places: 2

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold a doctoral degree or an official specialist title –of medical specialist (MIR), FIR, BIR or QIR
  • Applicant must arrange for 2 reference letters, one of them from their Thesis guide.

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be evaluated by a Committee made up of CNIO scientists.
  • The selection will be based on the applicant´s CV and prior research experience (the number and relevance of the publications, scholarships obtained, participation in international conferences, recommendation letters and other merits like patents, stays in centres of research, etc.).
  • The best candidates will be interviewed by the selection committee via Skype conferencing.

Remuneration: will be commensurate with the salary tables of the CNIO, and will be determined on the basis of the intervening years between the date of completion of the
