Researcher in Materials Chemistry: UiO 1366 views

University of Oslo (UiO) invites applications for a Researcher position in Materials Chemistry. The position is funded by the Norwegian Research Council as part of a research project dedicated to the development of combined kinetic/spectroscopic timeresolved characterization methods in heterogeneous catalysis. The researcher will focus on the preparation and characterization of novel catalytic materials based.

Duration: 1 year (fulltime position)

Starting date: as soon as possible.

Qualification:

  • Applicants must hold a degree equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in Materials Science, Inorganic Chemistry, or other disciplines related to materials synthesis and characterization
  • Applicants with previous experience in the synthesis of inorganic materials, including metal oxides and/or metal nanoparticles dispersed on metal oxides will have advantage.
  • Applicants experienced in SEM/EDX and XRD will be favored, but all applicants must demonstrate willingness to learn a new characterization methodology.
  • Applicant must be fluent in communication skills in English language (oral and written)
