The Roberto Longhi Foundation for History of Art Studies announces the availability of a number of fellowships for the year 2017-2018. The fellowships are dedicated to those, who are seriously keen to research in the History of Art. To be eligible, applicants must be under 32 before the closing date.

Starting date: October 1, 2017

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be Non-Italian citizens and must have fulfilled the preliminary requirements for a PhD Degree in the History of Art at an accredited university or an institution of equal standing.

Application:

Applications must include:

  • Biographical data (place of birth, domicile, citizenship)
  • Grade transcript (undergraduate and graduate records)
  • Printed copy of the degree thesis and of the original works (published and unpublished)
  • CV indicating also the spoken and written knowledge of foreign languages;
  • 2 Letters of recommendation from persons of academic standing who are acquainted with the applicant’s work
  • Subject of the research which the candidate is interested in pursuing within the History of Art;
  • 2 passport photographs.

Fellowship value:

  • fellowships will be paid in monthly installments over a period of nine months, beginning in October 2017 until June 2018
  • total amount: 5.400 Euro
