Dr. Reddy’s Lab invite applications for a post of Scientist in Cell line development.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute activities related to aseptic mammalian cell culture.
  • Design and develop high-yielding cell lines for expression of bio-therapeutics.
  • Design and conduct high throughput screening, characterization of clonal cell lines using scale-down models, cell banking, and cell line stability studies.
  • Learn and execute new technologies to streamline and optimize the cell line development process.
  • Develop and optimize new protein expression platforms
  • Write technical reports and present data in project and group meetings.
  • Working closely within the function and across allied functions.

Qualification:

  • Applicant must hold MSc/ MTech (Biochemistry or Biotechnology or allied areas)
  • Applicant must have 1-5 years’ of experience in mammalian cell culture and cell line development function.
  • Applicant must demonstrate: ability to learn and execute new methods; strong analytical and reasoning skills; interpersonal skills; ability to work and deliver with speed and quality.
