Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India invites application for SERB Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship 2016-17 (SERB-OPDF). Application for support to undertake overseas postdoctoral fellowship in Institutions located in various countries other than USA on a competitive mode is sought from the eligible researchers. Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) will make a separate call for US specific institutions.

Duration: 01 year (extendable to one more year subject to evaluation)

Eligibility:

  • Applications are open to Indian nationals only
  • Applicant must have completed PhD degree in science and engineering not earlier than the preceding 2 years from recognized institutions in India.
  • For researchers who are in regular employment, the 2 years period may be relaxed;
  • Applicant must not exceed 35 years
  • Applicant must produce offer letter from the overseas host institution (Other than USA).
