The UBC Killam Doctoral Scholarships are provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies. Killam Doctoral Scholarships are the most prestigious awards available to graduate students at UBC. About 15-20 awards are made each year to the top doctoral candidates in the Affiliated Fellowships competition.

Fellowship Award: The stipend for the 2020-2021 awards is $30,000 per annum for two years and a $2,000 allowance for research-related travel during the 24 months of the scholarship.

  3. International

Degree Level: Doctoral

Evaluation Criteria:

Evaluated as per Affiliated Fellowships. Top students in the competition are awarded Killam Doctoral Scholarships.
