UBS Center Scholarship: University of Zurich 2914 views

The UBS Center (UBS International Centre of Economics in Society) Scholarship are full scholarships granted every year to exceptional university graduates to enable them to take up their PhD studies at the Zurich Graduate School of Economics, run by the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich

Number of Scholarships: 3 (for entry in September 2018)

Tenure: 4 years

Eligibility and selection criteria:

  • There is no restriction of nationality to be eligible for the Scholarships (open to graduates from around the world)
  • Scholarships are awarded to applicants on exceptional academic merit, and continuing support will be subject to satisfactory completion of course work.
  • Applicants with research plans coinciding with areas of interest of the UBS International Center of Economics in Society will be preferred; applications from all areas are welcomed.
  • Admission to the Zurich Graduate School of Economics is a pre-condition for being considered for a UBS Center Scholarship.

Scholarship Value:

  • CHF 42’500/annum with tuition-fees
  • full scholarships; covering living expenses
  • Awardees are free to choose their guide and have no compulsion duties beyond the completion of the course work and their PhD.
