USP Global Fellowship Program for International Students in USA.

U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is inviting applications for their Global Fellowship Program (GFP). These grants are open to domestic and international students for pursuing full-time Ph.D. or Pharm.D. program, or medical / dental school.

Level: Fellowship is available for full-time study in a Ph.D. or Pharm.D. program, or medical or dental school.

Study Subject: Applicants are encouraged to ensure their research aligns with one of these topics:

  1. General Research,
  2. Chemical Medicines,
  3. Biologics and Biotechnology,
  4. Excipients,
  5. Dietary Supplements,
  6. Food Ingredients and Healthcare Quality Standards 

Benefits / Scholarship Award: Since the program’s begining in 1981, USP has invested approximately $4 million in more than 200 Fellowship awards so far.

Eligibility: Applicants must fullfill following eligibility conditions –

  1. Have been accepted for full-time Ph.D. or Pharm.D. program, or medical or dental school;
  2. Have been awarded a postdoc research (non-faculty) appointment.
  3. US and international students can apply for Global Fellowship Program.
  4. Non-U.S. applicants must have a background in standards and currently be enrolled in an equivalent educational program.
  5. International students must hold an appropriate visa.
  6. Applicants for Global Fellowships may not currently be a receipiant of funds
  7. Demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English.
