Vice-Chancellor’s (VC’s) Awards and Cambridge International Scholarships

On behalf of the University, the Cambridge Trust is pleased to offer the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards (for UK and EU students) and the Cambridge International Scholarships (for international students) for those who wish to pursue PhD studies.

No. of Fellowships: There are 250 number of Vice-Chancellor’s Awards and Cambridge International Scholarships which will be given to highest ranked students, irrespective of nationality, receive full financial support to undertake research leading to a PhD. The Scholarships covers University Composition Fee and a maintenance stipend sufficient for a single person.

Start: October 2017

Deadlines: Applicants classified as ‘overseas’ (countires other than EU) must apply by 7 December 2017.

Applicants from the UK and EU must apply either the 5 December 2018 or 3 January 2019 , whichever deadline is appropriate for your course.

How to Apply: All candidates should submit the Graduate Application Form, selecting the box to apply to Cambridge Trust and completing Sections B3 (Cambridge Trust Personal Statement) and B4 (Financial Details for the Cambridge Trust).

Selection procedure: A ranked list of all PhD candidates across all disciplines will be made by university committee by considering the factors like academic qualifications, references and research potential. The financial situation of applicants does not affect the selection of scholarship winners.
