A postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to conduct research on the impact of pesticides on turfgrass and urban landscape phytobiomes.

Qualifications: a Ph.D. in plant pathology, microbiology, or related discipline; demonstrated research skills in microbiology and molecular tools such as metagenomics and bioinformatics; excellent written communication skills; and a positive attitude for teamwork.

Salary: The position offers a $40,000 annual salary and a competitive benefits package. The initial appointment is for one year; renewal for subsequent years is likely pending satisfactory performance.
