A postdoc position (1 year) is available in the Polymer Reaction Design Group at the Institute for Materials Research of Hasselt University (Belgium). The foreseen research activities will be carried in the framework of an industry cooperation.The project will deal with the kinetic modelling of radical polymerizations via the program package Predici. Prior experience in kinetic modelling and/or kinetics of free-radical polymerizations is highly recommended. Next to the scientific tasks, the position entails organizational duties in the research group and supervision of bachelor and master thesis projects.

Candidates should be result-driven and have a “can-do” mentality. A good command of the English language and willingness to perform research in a team-oriented international research environment are recommended.
