Applications are invited for One (1) post of Senior Research Fellow funded by the DBT to work on the project entitled “Role and regulation of ceruloplasmin in glial cells in response to norepinephrine”. The project may need rigorous work on mammalian cells and in the areas of gene expression and signalling pathways.
The preference will be given to the candidate who has excellent experience on techniques on molecular/cell biology related to RNA/protein interactions with published evidence. The duration of the project is up to March, 2016.
Qualifications:
Essential: M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of biological sciences with experience (minimum 2 yrs) in the area of mammalian gene expression, RNA/protein interaction in relevant area.
Desirable: At least one publication in the related area in peer reviewed journal
Fellowship: Rs. 14000/- per month +30% HRA
