Postdoctoral Position in Bioengineering and Mircofluidics 1231 views

The Max Planck Institute for Medical Research is offering a postdoctoral position (2 years or longer) available at the Department of Chemical Biology (Prof. Kai Johnsson).

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • The selected candidate will join an interdisciplinary team that will develop an integrated microfluidic platform for a new class of biosensors.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of microfluidic chips incorporating bioluminescent sensor proteins developed in the Department.

Requirements:

  • Priority will be given to candidates with previous experiences with (paper-based) microfluidics.
  • Experience in bioassays and an interest in technology transfer is a plus.
