Walk- in- interview for Faculty positions at NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY DELHI: National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT (s) established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament and has been declared as an Institute of National importance.
NIT Delhi is an autonomous Institute which functions under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It aims to provide instructions and research facilities in various disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advance learning and dissemination of knowledge. The mission of NIT Delhi is to produce human resource those who are creative, competitive and innovative with high intellect and ethical values. The Institute is imparting holistic education, along with inculcating high moral values in its students.
The eligible and experienced technical personnel/professionals from Academic institutions, R&D labs and industry are invited for walk in interview for faculty positions in the Mechanical Engineering and English/Linguistic purely on contract basis with consolidated salary per
month (Rs 54200/- for Ph. D and Rs.49650/- for M. Tech/MA) as per the following details:

The details of Educational Qualification, Eligibility etc. in respect of the above posts are asfollows:-
Essential:
- Educational Qualification
Mechanical Engineering
- Tech and M. Tech /Ph. D in relevant area of specialization with 1st division at both masters’ and bachelors’ levels. A candidate with Ph. D degree will be preferred.
English
Ph. D / M. Phil / M.A in English /Linguistics with 1st division at both masters’ and bachelors’ levels. A candidate with Ph. D degree will be preferred.
Desirable:
- All degrees from reputed institutions, preferably from institutions of national importance or university departments in India or abroad.
- Good oral and written presentation skills.
- Strong command over fundamental skills
No TA/DA shall be given. For Industrial Management discipline, candidates with basic degree of Mechanical Engineering or Industrial/Production Engineering are also eligible.
