Adjunct & Visiting Faculty at National Institute of Technology Rourkela, an Institute of national importance and which has been engaged in teaching, research and development proposes to create pool of eminent, retired and working faculty from National and International universities and R&D labs to promote excellence and leadership in teaching and research to facilitate wider and deeper interactions of NIT Rourkela faculty, students and researchers.

Name of the Post: Adjunct or Visiting Faculty.

Emoluments: An Honorarium of Rs.XX Lakhs per annum. Travel and other contingency expenses will be as per Institute Rules.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

The person should have Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and with a minimum of 10 years’ teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution / institutions of comparable standards.

OR

A person with minimum 15 years industrial experience with a minimum Masters degree in Engineering discipline and with proven track record of being a researcher with commendable experience in research and development aspects in the relevant areas.

Area of Specialization: Electronics & Communication Engineering.
