images (3)Career Opportunities for Chemists and Chemical Engineers:  The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) invites scientists with innovative potential for research and teaching programmes interfacing biotech and chemical sciences as manifested in the fields of drug discovery, tissue engineering and synthetic biology.

General introduction: RCB, an international nodal point with local and global partnerships synergizing with UNESCO, will expand the opportunities to create world-class research and education.

Key features:

  • Faculty appointments will be offered from entry to program coordinator levels depending on the quantum of experience and the quality of scientific productivity. Investigators will be provided shared laboratory space and adequate start-up resources.
  • They are expected to generate eventual extramural project-based funding.

Interim laboratories of RCB are presently located in Gurgaon, neighboring the South Delhi area, which has adequate housing, transportation and schooling facilities. The permanent laboratories will come up within the Health Biotech Science Cluster (HBSC) at Faridabad over the next three years.
