06 Scientist Positions: MEFCC, ZSI 2508 views

Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MEFCC), Government of India, Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up of Six posts of Scientists on Direct Recruitment basis in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Zoological Survey of India as per details given below:

Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change

Three (03) posts of Scientist – ‘D’ in Level -12, Rs. 78800- 209200 of Pay Matrix of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016

(i) Post No. 1/MoEF

(ii) Post No. 2/MoEF

 Required Essential Qualifications

  1. M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences with seven years of experience out of which at least 3.5 years should be in work related to wildlife conservation and management.

OR

  1. Ph.D. in Wildlife Sciences with 4 years of experience out of which at least 3.5 years should be in work related to wildlife conservation and management.

Zoological Survey of India

One (01) Post of Scientist – ‘D’ in Level -12, Rs. 78,800- 2,09,200 of Pay Matrix of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016

Post No. 4/ZSI – (Invertebrate) RESERVED FOR PH- (VH/HH/OH)

Essential Educational Qualification

  1. Master’s Degree in Zoology/Marine Biology/Environmental Science/Bio-technology from a Recognized University/Institute with 7 years experience in research in an academic institution or scientific and technological organization after possessing the minimum educational qualification required for the post.

OR

  1. Doctorate in Zoology/Marine Biology/Environmental Science/Bio-technology from a Recognized University/Institute with 4 years experience in research in an academic institution or scientific and technological organization after possessing the minimum educational qualification required for the post

Area of Experience

Protozoa/Sponges/Annelida/Helminthes/Mollusca/Arthropoda/Echinodermata/Fishs/Amphibia/Reptiles/Birds/Mammals with special reference to Systematic. Morphology and Ecology of animals.

(b) Two (02) Posts of Scientist – SC     in Level -11, Rs. 67700-208700 of Pay Matrix of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016

Required Essential Qualification

  1. Master’s Degree in Zoology/Marine Biology/Environmental Science/Bio-technology from a Recognized University/Institute with 3 years experience in Taxonomy. Morphology. Ecology.
