Accelerator Physics: DESY-Fellowships (f/m) in Accelerator R&D 1062 views

DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotro); Accelerator Research and Development (ARD) invite applications for the DESY fellowships.

Research topics at DESYs Accelerator R&D:

1. Improvements of existing accelerator flagship facilities
2. Super-conducting RF technology for future accelerators and its implementation in FLASH, the European XFEL and other modern high power accelerators
3. Compact accelerator technology with high accelerating fields
4. New accelerator facilities for R&D, photon science and particle physics

Requirements

• Applicant must hold PhD in physics or engineering completed within the last 4 years

Duration: at least 2 years with the possibility of extension by one additional year.
