Adjunct and Visiting Faculty at the NIT Rourkela (National Institute of Technology): It is an Institute of national importance and has been engaged in teaching, research and development proposes. Hence, the Institute invites applications from eligible Indian nationals and Internationals, possessing excellent academic backgrounds, committed to quality teaching and potential for pursuing cutting-edge research and education in all the specialization.

Designation / Post: Adjunct or Visiting Faculty.

Emoluments:

1.       An Honorarium of amount will be paid according to the government rues.

2.      Travel and other contingency expenses will be as per Institute Rules.

 Required Qualifition/Experience/Skills:

1.       Hold a Ph.D. with Ist class at the preceding degree or equivalent

2.      A very good academic record throughout

3.      With a minimum of 10 years’ teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution or other institutions of comparable standards.

OR

4.      A person with minimum 15 years of industrial experience with a minimum Masters degree in Engineering discipline alongwith proven track record of being a researcher with commendable experience in research and development aspects in the relevant areas.

Field / Area of Specialization: Electronics & Communication Engineering.
