Position 1: Associate Professor

Number of Vacancy: 26 Posts

Required Educational Qualification: As Per UGC Regulations.

Salary: INR Rs.37400-67000 + Academic Grade Pay Rs.9000/-

Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Position 2: Assistant Professor

Number of Vacancy: 59 Posts

Required Educational Qualification: As Per UGC Regulations.

Salary: INR Rs.15600-39100 + Academic Grade Pay Rs.6000/-

Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Application Fee:

1. Application processing fee for General category candidates is Rs. 1000/- & for SC of HP/ST of HP/OBC of HP is Rs.500/- which is required to paid along with application form in the shape of crossed Indian Postal Orders/ Bank draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla payable at Shimla.

Application Procedure:

1. The Prescribed application form can be downloaded from University Website (Link is given at the end of the post).
2. Separate applications are to be filled for each post.
3. The in-service candidates must send their applications through proper channel. However, an advance copy with fee may be sent so as to reach before the last date.
4. The completed application forms along with self-attested photocopies of claims made in application and applicable fee should reach the following address:
