Subject:

  1. Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Textile Engineering & Fibre Science: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent in concerned discipline with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).
  2. Microbiology: Master’s Degree or equivalent with not less than 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates).

Pay Scale: INR 79929/- Per Month

Application Procedure for the recruitment:

  1. Candidates are required to apply On-Line from 16.03.2018 to 02.04.2018 through BIS website.
  2. No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted under any circumstances. The last date for submitting the application is 02.04.2018. The Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 16.03.2018 to 02.04.2018 (only through Online payment mode) both dates inclusive] is Rs. 750/- and is Non-Refundable. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/ Ex-Serviceman/ Persons with Benchmark Disabilities /Women Candidates.
  3. The online exam is proposed to be held on 15.04.2018 which shall be followed by an interview of the shortlisted candidates.
