University of Oslo and Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas offers a PhD Research Fellowship in Philosophy within the project “What should not be bought and sold?”
The post is under SAMKUL project which is funded by the Research Council of Norway. The project team is led by Ole Martin Moen.
Responsibilities:
- participate in the research training program organized by the Faculty of Humanities and must engage in the designated research activities on a full-time basis
- research training leading to the successful completion of a doctoral dissertation (monograph or article-based) to be defended at a public defense for the doctoral degree
- fellow will be affiliated with the Faculty’s organized research training
- fellow is expected to join the existing research milieu or network and contribute to its development
Duration: 3 years; starting date March 2017.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold Master’s Degree or equivalent in philosophy or in another area relevant area.
- Applicant must have obtained Master’s Degree by the time of application
