MSPRF (Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowships); Directorate for Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Division of Mathematical Sciences invites applications from qualified PhD holders for postdoctoral research.

The Fellow will have two alternatives for holding the fellowship:

  1. The Research Fellowship: This will provide full-time backing for any eighteen academic-year months in a three-year period, in intervals not shorter than three consecutive months;
  2. The Research Instructorship: This will provide a arrangement of full-time and half-time support over a period of three academic years, generally one academic year full-time followed by two academic years half-time. This opportunity allows the Fellow to have advantage of teaching experience during the two half-time academic years. The full-time fellowship funding will be provided during the first year but in extremely unusual circumstances.

Expected Number of Awards: 30 to 33

Expected Funding Amount: $5,000,000 subject to availability of funds
