Doctoral Scholarships (in Aerospace) are available for scholars with a degree in a subject related to aeronautics and space travel at the Technical University Munich (TMU) or the University of the German Armed Forces (UniBw). The scholarship programme allows candidates to enroll at the Munich Aerospace Graduate School.

Scholarship value: The scholarship is worth EUR 1,575/month and will be granted for at least 1 year and at most 3 years.

Target Group

  • graduates with a degree in a subject related to aeronautics and space travel keen to obtain a doctoral degree at the Technical University Munich (TUM) or the University of the German Armed Forces (UniBw)

Academic Requirements

  • to secure admission to a PhD programme at the TUM or the UniBw in a subject related to aeronautics and space travel
  • applicant must have higher-education degree with at least good grades or equivalent in a subject related to aeronautics or space travel
  • applicant is required to provide letter confirming supervision by a competent higher-education teacher in accordance with the guidelines for doctoral programmes

Number of Scholarships offered: about 05 scholarships per year

Tenure: 12 months at least, up to three years at most
