Graduate School of Quantitative Biosciences Munich (QBM) provides an innovative, integrated PhD training program that is international in outlook and brings together a range of diverse disciplines, from biochemistry and medicine to bioinformatics, experimental and theoretical (bio-)physics, and applied mathematics.

The School is a joint initiative by leading scientists from Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich as well as from the Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry and the Helmholtz Center Munich.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold Master’s in any relevant discipline biochemistry, biophysics, (physical) chemistry, theoretical physics, mathematics, statistics, (bio)informatics
  • Applications are invited from student of any country, interested in interdisciplinary research; applications from women are encouraged.
  • Applicant must ensure that Master’s degree is completed before commencement of the QBM program, but not necessarily at the time of application.
