Eligibility, Qualification, Experience and Pay Scales:

A. PROFESSOR

Pay Scale: Pay- Rs.37,400- Rs.67,000, with AGP of Rs.10,000/-)

Requirements:

1. Atleast 55% marks at Masters level or equivalent
2. With a Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline and
3. Published work of high quality (minimum of 10 (ten) publications)
4. A min. of 10 years of experience in teaching in University/ Colleges and /or research at
   the University/ Institutions/industries, including experience of guiding PhD candidates.

B. READER/(Asst. Professor Stage)

1. Scale of Pay- Rs.15,600-Rs.39,100, with AGP of Rs.8,000/-)

Requirements

1. Good academic record with a PHD degree or equivalent
2. Published work in the concerned disciplines.
3. Atleast 55% of the marks or an equivalent
4. A min. of 8 years of experience of teaching and/or research papers.

C. LECTURER / (Assistant Professor- Stage-I )

1. Scale of Pay- Rs.15, 600-39,100/- with AGP of Rs. 6,000/- .

Requirements

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from
2. Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturer/Assistant Professor conducted by UGC, CSIR etc.
