Scholarship for Master’s in Natural Sciences, Germany: The University of Koblenz-Landau is a relatively new and young, medium-sized university. In 1990 the university emerged from the previous teacher training college. In the period in-between research and teaching are structured in three associated interdisciplinary subject areas entitled Society, Learning and Environment.

This is the only university which offers teacher training courses for all school types. This core ability characterizes the university’s profile.

The global Office is providing partial financial support for international students. The sole aim of this fund is to support competent international students monetarily during their first semester at the University so that they can settle in and get used to living and studying in Germany.

Eligibility:

  • Non-German nationality
  • Accepted at University for any one of the following master’s programs:
  1. M.Sc. Web Science
  2. M.Sc. Ecotoxicology
  3. Masters in.Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems
  4. M.Sc. Environmental Sciences
  • Winter semester shall be the starting session.
  • Achieved good grades (GPA of 1.9 or better) in their last studies
  • Necessity of financial support

Scholarship details: Period of support: maximum of 6 months

Scholarship Payments: The compensation order of the monthly scholarship installments will be released after the applicant has successfully enrolled at the University.

Criteria of Selection

After the submission, the credentials are first cleared for completeness and then assessed by an internal university selection commission. The choice of students for fellowship is based on the written documents given by candidate. The major decisive factors are academic accomplishments and financial condition.
