University of Calicut: Faculty recruitment (temporary) for 56 Positions

The walk-in-interview for the appointment of Assistant Professors on contract basis in the following departments will be held in the Administrative Block, University of Calicut.

Name of Departments: Arabic, Chemistry, Muslim, ETB, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Muslim, Education, English, Hindi, Journalism, Library Science,Life Science, Malayalam, Nano Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Russian and Comparative Literature, Sanskrit, Statistics, Theatre and Drama. 

Required Qualification: Minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor in the UGC Amended Regulations 2014. In the absence of qualified candidates, those without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at Masters Degree will also be considered.

Salary:

The Assistant Professors (contract basis) with minimum qualification prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor shall be eligible for a consolidated remuneration of Rs 30,800/-per month.

Assistant Professors (contract basis) without minimum qualifications, but with 55% marks at the Masters Degree are eligible for a consolidated remuneration of Rs 15000/- per month.

Age limit: Below 40 years (Age limit as on 01/01/2018)

General Instructions:

1. The appointments on contract basis shall be for a period up to the end of the academic year
   2018-2019.
2. Candidates should be reach the office of Recruitment Section, Administrative Block one hour before the stipulated time on the day of interview for certificate verification
