A PhD Fellowship (short term visiting fellowship) will be awarded for a period of 1 to 3 months, providing travel and accommodation to and from Stockholm, but no salary or per diem. Priority will be given to applicants who are registered as PhD students in theoretical physics or a related subject at a university in the Nordic countries at the time of the fellowship visit to Nordita, but students from other countries will also be considered.
As a visiting doctoral student you need to select a Nordita faculty member as a host to work at Nordita. Please contact your host before you apply and discuss your application with your host. This would increase the chance of an application to get success; starting dates at Nordita are flexible.
Online applications for the fellowship program can be submitted at: jam.nordita.org
Please note that only online applications will be considered, applications for 2017 should be received by May 20, 2017.
If you have query, or need help in selecting a host, please contact the coordinator of the program, Dhrubaditya Mitra ([email protected]).
The visiting doctoral program at Nordita is open for applications for visits during 2017.
